Exclusive B&B in the heart of Bruges

On a pedestrian street close to Bruges’ most beautiful canal, the Groene Rei, and its oldest bridge, the Peerdenbrug, is Number 11. This unique bed & breakfast is the ideal base for anyone wishing to discover romantic Bruges: peaceful and charming, but without any compromise on comfort. The historic building has three exclusive guest rooms and one luxury suite. Bruges’ main museums, the shopping centre, the finest restaurants and many of the city’s attractions are all within walking distance.

A building with a history

The house in which Number 11 is located dates back to the seventeenth century. The centuries-old ceiling beams create a warm and cosy atmosphere. The building’s authentic character was preserved when it was renovated, without compromising on modern comforts. The spacious rooms are tastefully decorated, and each has a private bathroom with wooden floor.

From the pleasant breakfast room and the lounge with its fireplace, there is access into a peaceful walled garden. There is a minibar (paying) available in the lounge. The whole house exudes charm, comfort, peace and culture. Terracotta statues and paintings by Martine Bossuyt decorate the interior.

Various scenes from the world-famous film In Bruges starring Colin Farrell and Brendan Gleeson were recorded in the exclusive setting of Number 11 in 2007.

Bruges is about 15 km from the coast (including the chic Knokke-Heist), and is surrounded by the flat polders with picturesque villages such as Damme and Oostkerke.

It is a particularly bicycle-friendly city, which is why cycling is the method of choice for exploring Bruges and its surroundings. You can rent bikes in the city centre.
